The ECB has announced that the England team is to have three different captains for the first time in its history ahead of this summer's series.
Andrew Strauss continues in his role as Test captain following his Ashes success down under in the winter. Stuart Broad has been named Twenty20 captain; a choice predicted by some pundits a few weeks ago.
However, the biggest surprise is the appointment of Alastair Cook as One-Day International captain, especially as he has been overlooked for the ODI squad for the past couple of series including in Australia and the World Cup.
I'll write a full reaction to this story later. For now please VOTE in our poll opposite.
