Saturday was a Swedish Kettlbell Championship headed by IKSFA. It was a great event and lots of spectators. I made a little film. It is not Spielberg quality, but you get a picture of the happening.
As you see, there was a lot of good and strong lifting as well as some notable Russian guests. I will not name any lifter in particular as then I have to mention everyone :-). Good work anyway!
Training journal
LC 2x20kg: 5, 74(/10min)
Jerk 2x20kg: 5
Jerk 2x24kg: 5
Jerk 2x28kg: 5,5
Jerk 2x30kg: 2
Push-ups: 3x 10reps
Stretch & bridge work
The 74 rep set felt nice. My technique is slow and I don't rest a lot with a 7,4 rpm tempo. Among other things, the swing in clean is long which is not bad per se but it takes time when lifting lighter bells. I should get up quicker from the 2nd dip - staying down there is bad indeed.
Anyway, imagine if your technique is one sec slower per rep than another person's rep. That makes 74 seconds during a 10min set in this case. If I was quicker I would have an extra minute for doing more reps. Or, I would have an extra minute for resting in rack. Well, the 2nd dip should be addressed.
My PR with 2x16kg is 80 reps in LC, by the way. That would be nice to do with the 20ks as well.
See you!
