PRICKS-Bill Maher

There was a time when I almost liked Bill Maher. Like me, Maher is an atheist, and I find myself agreeing with him on that range of subjects. He is also iconoclastic and a political outsider. He doesn't hold back on what he thinks, and it has cost him at least one job. But it has also made his career. He was also a vocal supporter of Ron Paul for awhile there. Then, he lost me.



Bill once claimed to be a "libertarian." The reality is that Maher is an idiot, but calling himself a libertarian sounded cool. The fucker didn't even know what the term meant. The stupid fucker is like so many shitheads in the general public who don't read books but suddenly have strong opinions on things they know nothing about. This wouldn't be so bad except Maher has a TV show that goes out to a national audience. Because he is smarmy, he gives the impression that he is intelligent. But the guy is a complete dipshit. And he is certainly no libertarian. Maher has not ceased to lick the ass crease of Obama since the man took office. Why? Even other leftards refuse to give Obama as much as Maher gives.



Here's the deal. Maher is an entertainer. He plays to an audience which is largely leftarded. So, he plays a leftard on TV because that is popular. There is no principle here. There is simply telling jokes. Telling jokes about GOP members and Tea Partiers plays better than telling jokes about Obama's hypocrisy. Since libertarianism requires intelligence, Maher can't ever tell those jokes since no one would get them except a handful of libertarians like myself.



The thing that makes Maher such a hypocrite is the simple fact that he has repeatedly endorsed European socialism. This wouldn't be such a big deal to me except the guy tries to distance himself from the Left by going for that libertarian tag not knowing what the fuck he was talking about. But Maher is a leftard. I suspect he has always been a leftard and will always be one. What is indisputable is the guy is a complete prick. I expect him to shit all over Ron Paul this time around and disavow ever endorsing the guy in the past.
