If you didn't know anything going in to House of Numbers, you would leave shocked, horrified, and extremely angry over the fiasco of HIV and wondering how the whole world could be duped into believing a lie. But then, you go to Google, and you leave angry that the people behind House of Numbers can be such liars. HIV/AIDS is a scientific fact. If you doubt this, consider the fact that Christine Maggiore, an AIDS denialist, allowed her daughter to die from the disease and later Maggiore would die from the disease herself. Christine Maggiore is in the film denying AIDS.

House of Numbers is in the conspiracy theory vein of documentaries along with 9/11 conspiracy and a whole bunch of other shit that has dubious empirical support. Like all conspiracy theories, HIV/AIDS denial rests on stirring up doubts. Weave these doubts together, and you have a conspiracy. Unfortunately, if you think you're going to go out and have wild unprotected sex with whores galore with no consequences, reality is going to smack you right in the face. AIDS is real.
