1. ANDY ROONEY DIES

I will miss Andy Rooney. It is obvious the guy retired for health reasons. Otherwise, he kept at it for his entire life. He could be a crusty old dude, but he always said what he thought. I enjoyed his pieces on 60 Minutes. It is my own aspiration to become a crusty old man saying what he thinks. I will miss Andy Rooney. Farewell, my friend.

2. HERMAN CAIN'S TROUBLES WITH WOMEN

I have to admit that I haven't paid attention or given a single fuck about Herman Cain's checkered past and the revelations that he is a serial sexual harasser. Undoubtedly, this is some dirt dug up by opponents, and I am glad to see that dirty campaigning is still alive and well. But I care more about the issues than this bullshit. The fact is that there many many many reasons not to vote for Herman Cain, and this isn't one of them.

3. GREECE

From everything I have heard about the Greek bailout, it amounts to this. Greece owes a bunch of money they can't repay. So, the EU has lent Greece money it does not have. Where did this money come from? Folks, this shit is fixing to blow the fuck up in people's faces. The entire EU is one giant house of cards fixing to collapse. Germany knows this which is why they have their hands on the door handle of the exit. Somewhere, the US Federal Reserve has a hand in this as well. Basically, we have an international Ponzi scheme, and it will end as all such schemes must. If you think things are bad now, we are merely warming up for what it is to come.

4. NIKKI HALEY AND WILL FOLKS

Will Folks is the local muckraker here in Columbia, SC. He publishes FITSNews and alleges to have had sex with our governor Nikki Haley before she became the governor of South Carolina. Nikki supposedly has an open marriage with her husband and engaged in numerous extramarital sexual escapades. The problem Will has is that people here in SC just don't seem to care, and he is starting to look like a guy beating a very dead horse. Like with Cain, the issues are what really matter. The personal lives of these people really don't amount to much. Granted, Mark Sanford was brought down by such a scandal, but he actually finished his term as governor. I expect him to be back. Such similar shenanigans have done little to hurt others like Bill Clinton and Newt Gingrich. Even Eliot Spitzer will probably be back in office somewhere. The fact is that all this gossip and crap has served to make sex boring. Will Folks should realize this and move on to serious matters.

5. GOOGLE

Google has turned completely stupid. First, they fucked up their Google Reader. It utterly sucks now. Now, they have fucked up Blogger. As I write this, I have no way to make links or adjust anything except to put in straight text. This is the same crap they did with Reader. I don't mind cosmetic changes, but they are literally trying to see how shitty they can be and get away with it. I am so fucking tired of this shit. If I see either Sergey or Larry, I am going to kick them in the fucking balls as hard as I fucking can.
