1. CUTTING SPENDING

I've watched this my whole life. The politicians talk about cutting government spending. Then, they turn it into political theater. They say some programs should be cut while others should not. On and on it goes, as they toss out words like "cruel" and "draconian." The budget cutters are decried as people who spear babies on pitchforks. The reality is that the cutters are trying to end the real threat to this country's wellbeing which is out of control government spending. It amazes me how deluded the politicians and the citizens of this country can be. They absolutely refuse to face reality. So, it takes reality to make them admit their stupidity.

Most of the politics can be eliminated if they had a straight up or down vote to eliminate 20% or more from all government programs. Everybody shares the pain. This is a compromise. But people don't want the compromise. This is not their nature. They want to fuck over the other guy. This is the name of the game.

2. THE EARNED INCOME TAX CREDIT

Poor people who qualify for the EITC are spending their cash like fiends. It sickens me. I think people who make little should pay no taxes. I'm cool with this. But it pisses me off when the IRS pays them on top of this. This is theft, yet it is OK when the government does it. The result of this theft is that you have all these tax prep places that prepare the 1040EZ forms in less than ten minutes. They file them electronically and give the financial retards a "refund anticipation loan." Naturally, the interest on these loans is staggering for what is essentially risk free lending since the tax preparer will collect that government check. Most poor people are lazy stupid people who can't wait the two weeks it takes for them to get their government check. So, they blow this wad of cash and are flat fucking broke in a matter of weeks. Meanwhile, working people like me have to keep working to pay taxes, so these parasites can go blow their cash on shit, lottery tickets, crack, or whatnot. Every goddamn one of them is a worthless piece of shit. Then, they try to hit us up for a loan during the second half of the year.

3. RECESSION

I am calling an end to this recession. It is over with. This doesn't mean financial hardship will not be had. I see inflation, higher taxes, and whatnot ahead. But the only unemployed people we have are those wanting to sit on their asses. Everywhere I go I see HELP WANTED signs. The fact is that I saw them during the recession. The economy is primed for growth, and I can FEEL it. I tend to be pessimistic, so you know things are getting better when I am feeling positive.
