Cardiff Blues have teamed up with Glamorgan Cricket giving supporters a fantastic offer of winning FREE match tickets for the Glamorgan v Gloucestershire T20 match to be played on Friday 15 July at 7.10pm.

All Cardiff Blues supporters who have, or will, purchase 2011/12 season tickets by the early bird deadline of the 30th of June will be put into a draw and the first two hundred names pulled out of the hat will all be given a pair of tickets, worth £36, for the Friends Life T20 match.

Glamorgan got their T20 campaign off to a winning start beating Middlesex at the SWALEC Stadium and are still in contention to qualify for the Quarter Finals after a superb team performance that saw them secure a dramatic win against the Sussex Sharks on Thursday evening.

Speaking of the offer, Paul Tito of Cardiff Blues said,

“A lot of the Cardiff Blues and Glamorgan Players are good mates so we often come down to watch each other play and it’s good to see them doing so well so far this season.”

“I think it’s a great offer for 200 Blues season ticket holders to be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets for the Glamorgan T20 match.”

“I’ve been down to a few times this summer and the matches are a great night out.”

Glamorgan batsman Mike Powell said, “It was interesting to see some of the rugby boys in action in the nets. Without naming names I think it’s fair to say that some were better than others and you can see why they stuck to rugby.”

“We enjoy a great relationship with the players at the Blues and try to catch as many games as we can.”

“Obviously many supporters enjoy watching rugby in the winter and cricket in the summer so I think it’s great for Blues season ticket holders to have the chance of winning tickets to watch Glamrogan play.”

Cardiff Blues season tickets cost from as little as £150 for adults in the family stand and offer outstanding value, giving access to a minimum of 16 games that include: all RaboDirect PRO12 home games in regular season, all Heineken Cup home pool matches and all home LV= (Anglo-Welsh) Cup pool matches.

The closing date for the double early bird discount is Thursday 30 June, with the discount available to the majority of season ticket holders, offering a discount of up to £50. Existing season ticket holders can also upgrade to other areas in the stadium and take advantage of the double Early bird discount applicable in that area, as well as getting a seat in a better area.

Supporters can renew their season tickets by visiting www.cardiffblues.com/tickets or calling 0845 345 1400
