1. SCOTUS VACANCY

John Paul Stevens elects to retire from the SCOTUS. Obama will pick a leftard to fill the spot. My choice? Judge Andrew Napolitano.



2. STUPAK

Bart Stupak says that the Tea Party didn't force him to leave. He was just ground down by the demands of his district and time away from family. Does anyone seriously believe this crock of horseshit?

Stupak was responsible for voting for that healthcare bullshit bill. He is now paying the price. Get the fuck out!! Good riddance to another worthless son of a bitch. His mother should have had an abortion when she conceived that cocksucker.

3. THE FCC AND THE INTERNET

One way or another, the FCC is going to regulate the internet. This is what government does. It encroaches upon freedom. It tries to smother it and destroy it all for our own good. And the American people will go along with it because they are too fucking stupid to be free.

4. POPE RAT

It is obvious to anyone with decency and common sense that Pope Been-a-dick is an enabler for pedophiles and child rapists. This is nothing new for the Catholic Church. The Church has a long history of sexual perversion and abuse. Today's sex scandals involving politicians, athletes, and celebrities are tame compared to what these "holy" men have done through the ages. Pope Rat is a piece of shit with less human decency than you will find among your average prison inmate who routinely kill and assault child molesters because they find the crime so abhorrent. Pope Rat covers for these perverts. I find this to be evil.

Catholics, you are fucked in the head for revering this son of a bitch. Religion is poison.

5. GREECE

Everyone watches Greece in is financial death spiral as if what is happening to them won't happen to us. But Greece finds itself where it is precisely for the same reasons California is in a world of shit. They spent money they did not have. They do not have the political will to cut that spending. Raising taxes will lead to a revolution. And they can't mint up inflated currency to monetize their debts. Other countries in the EU are not far behind in their own troubles.

How can anyone believe that governments make their lives better? If this progressive tomfuckery works, why is Greece and California in such deep shit? And why does history repeat itself again and again on this? And how can any leftard support Obama and these big government policies with a straight face? They don't work. As Maggie Thatcher put it, socialism works great until you run out of other people's money.

6. COAL MINING

Coal mining is dangerous work. There are 22 deaths for every 100,000 workers each year according to The Daily Beast. This compares to 12.25 deaths per 100,000 motorists in 2008 according to the NHTSA. The danger in coal mining is almost double that of your daily commute to work.




7. THE GOLDMAN SACHS WAY

There is one thing that you can say about Goldman Sachs. No matter how immoral or slimy they get, everything they do is legal. This is because they make everything they do legal. The fact is that Goldman Sachs does what it does and is so successful because they made a decision a long time ago to ingratiate themselves with the government. Instead of fighting the government, Goldman Sachs has joined the government and not just here in the USA but abroad as well. Like it or not, if you are going to do business and be successful at it, you have to be politically involved. You don't have a choice.

We can lament this situation and curse firms like Goldman, but it is what it is. As long as government intervenes in the markets, the market players are going to intervene in government. My leftard friends like to excoriate this corporate influence on government as if free enterprise is what corrupts the political process. But this is like saying that flies corrupt a pile of shit. Remove the flies, and the shit will still be shit. Why blame them for capitalizing on a shitty mess?

This is called crony capitalism, and it has a long history. The best way to get rid of the flies is to get rid of the shit pile.



8. TIGER AT THE MASTERS

This story has grown old for me. The guy with the airplane banner should have his pilot's license revoked for making such a lame joke. Didn't Leno tell that one? Then, there was the neighbor's daughter that Tiger supposedly nailed at the tender age of 20. Folks, 20 ain't that young. It would be a bigger deal if Tiger had served her a mojito. So, we are now at the boredom stage with this story. What's left? GOLF!

9. WIKILEAKS

Wikileaks shows the power of the internet. These guys put out the Climategate emails. Now, they give us this:



Horrible stuff. War is hell. We really need to get out of Iraq. Incidents like this don't help in winning hearts and minds. It just makes people mad and hate the USA.

I am reminded of the scene in The Hurt Locker where they ask if the guy is an insurgent, and Renner gives the classic reply, "No, but he's probably one now." I think most people want to live in peace and be left alone, but US foreign policy makes it harder and harder for people to do that. Now, we have our Afghan partner, Hamid Karzai, threatening to go join the Taliban. Why are we there again?
