Is Kevin Trudeau A Scam Artist?

YES!

I see this shyster on infomercials, and he takes scamming to a whole new level. Trudeau has been tried and convicted for his scams. He has lost many judgments from the FTC. This guy has been slammed hard by the feds for his fraudulent activities. But Trudeau is the energizer bunny of scam artists. He takes a licking, but he keeps on tricking.

Trudeau is clever in his infomercials because he sets himself up as a "skeptic" and being a contrarian. Now, I am a skeptic and a contrarian, and I can tell you this guy is full of shit.

The scam I am watching now is Trudeau's riff on the Law of Attraction. Books like The Secret and others attempt to tell you to tune your "frequencies" to receive what the Universe wants to give you. You can think your way to riches and happiness. This is simply a load of shit.

Trudeau's most famous scams involve herbal remedies and quack medicine. He used to sell products, but now, he just sells books to comply with a court order. Basically, he has First Amendment protection which allows him to do this. Should people be held liable for bad advice? That is an interesting question considering most advice is bad anyway.

Trudeau is a huckster, but he has the best huck a huckster can have. He has a diversified product line. He talks a good game. He racks up the dough. And people want all of it. This is because scams are fake answers to real problems. People want to be healthy and rich. My advice is to try working for it.
