Darren Heitner, a student at the University of Florida College of Law and one of the authors of Sports Agent Blog, passes along a note about his school's upcoming sports law symposium entitled "From the Locker Room to the Board Room." The symposium will examine topics relating to student-athlete recruitment, coaching, agency, and management. It will take place this Friday, February 8. Guest include Marc Isenberg, author of Money Players: A Guide to Succeed in Sports, Business & Life for Current and Future Pro Athletes (an outstanding book that I will review later this week) and Joe Favorito, SVP of Communications for the International Fight League, former VP of PR for the Knicks, founder of Sports Marketing and PR Roundup.
