Bloody Sock, Meet Bloody Gauze

The WSJ Law Blog reports (H/T: Paul Horwitz) that, in his meeting with committee staffers today, Brian McNamee has turned over evidence he says is from the steroid injections he gave Roger Clements back in 2000-01, including bloody gauze, syringes, and vials. No word on why, exactly, he decided to keep this for eight years. There is a Linda Tripp joke in here somewhere.

This all gets stranger every day. I still believe the hearing next week is going to be a dog-and-pony show; but it might be an interesting (or at least funny) dog-and-pony show.
