Upper Deck Football 2012 Trade Cards And its a Hot product!

Of course with Upper Deck surprising collectors with these trade cards without announcing anything about them ahead of time it is making collectors wanting the product even more.

The card states on the back that Upper Deck will trade you this card for an Upper Deck Football card of a 1st Round Draft Pick Quarterback but does not state who. And when you trade in one of these cards Upper Deck isnt getting them fulfilled til 2013 so it will be hard to tell which rookie class you will be getting the cards from. We can all assume it is RG3 and Andrew Luck. And since Andrew Luck has that deal with Press Pass for exclusive first autographs Upper Deck may have done it this way so they didn't miss out on him.

There are two different versions of the card a silver, which is an unsigned version, and a gold which is an autographed version.

The cards have taken over eBay as well with the silver versions going for $100 or more dollars and the rare gold version for upwards to $1000. That's incredible. It's hard to tell what these will be worth down the road since the wait is so long. We will have to see.

Upper Deck did a similar thing in their 1992 basketball cards and inserted a Shaq O'Neil trade card that could be exchanged for a variation of his card.
