NY Giants Offseason Losses

Wow, I see another Giants player signed elsewhere.

WR/special teamer Devin Thomas signed with the Bears yesterday. It capped off a two player loss since former RB Brandon Jacobs signed with the 49ers earlier in the day. The Giants also loss WR Mario Mannigham as well to the 49ers. I would assume with the loss of Thomas and Manningham that means Coach Coughlin must have some serious confidence in what will be 2nd year WR Jerell Jernigan. Who will have to come off the bench to play slot and to kick return. Or this could be a sign of possibly a former WR named Plaxico Burress making a return. There has already been talk that TE Jeremy Shockey wants back, but the Giants haven't had the same interest. And the battle on Twitter between him and Amani Toomer probably isn't helping his cause.

The Giants also still have 2 Free Agents out on the market in CB Aaron Ross who was a 1st round pick in 2007 and RT Kareem Mckenzie.

Guess the draft will show us Giants fans what there plans are. The one thing the Giants have done really well since Jerry Reese has been brought on board, besides winning two of the last 4 Super Bowls, is drafting.
