The audience weren't having a laugh

For the first time in The Tonight Show's history, NBC decided to
add a laugh track. It seems Sarah Palin's comedy routine, fell
more than flat according to people who attended the taping, and
the producers felt the need to add a laugh track.

Perhaps she should stick to politics?
