What is happening in the kettlebell world? Pavel leaves RKC and WKC allows press-outs.
I think that the latter change makes some sense though. Anyway, if press-out/push press is defined as having the elbows slightly bent at the bottom of the 2nd dip and straightened simultaneously with the knees.
Some good GS-guys does like that as far as I can see. Knees locked out first, and then elbows is ugly and inefficient. But, maybe it is just as good to allow that as well. I like working on, and thinking about, technique but maybe kettlebell sport rules has become just a bit too monolithic which robs some spontaneity and joy. I mean, if it becomes more a business of, e.g., not touching your belt with the elbows and such stuff, than strength and endurance, it is not a good thing.
By the way, a couple of years ago you were allowed to rest in hang in LC and snatch. I wish that was allowed as well.
