On Saturday, March 28, the Sports & Entertainment Law Society at the NSU Shepard Broad Law Center (co-sponsored by the Florida Bar Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law Section) is hosting a symposium entitled, Adaptation: “Staying ahead of legal issues arising in the new digital age”. I will be on a panel explaining why athletes have a right of publicity when huge corporate conglomerates profit from the use of their names in the sale of commercial fantasy league products.
