Did the NZRFU have a hand in Sparc Funding

I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but this one,
I tend to believe.

It's not beyond reality to think that the NZRFU would
have a quiet word with Sparc about what sports they
will fund.

Now Im not saying they did this to boost their own funding,
but it would be in their best interests if a sport that they
deem to be in competition with rugby, doesn't get any
money.

That sport is Basketball.

It doesn't hurt the NZRFU if Equestrian gets millions,
because that is not going to effect them, but Basketball
getting a boost, would hurt Rugby, so the NZRFU would
like to see that sport suffer.

So was there back room deals?? The NZRFU already has
had secret meetings with TVNZ  (according to one Journo)
about how they cover other sports, which are in competition
with Rugby, so why not have a word with Sparc?

Stranger things have happened.

Lomu a victim of Fraud and his own ego

First off, lets hope the Loizos Michaels, the man
who frauded Lomu and 100's of other people
goes to jail for a long long time.

For the life of me though, I cannot believe that
Johan Lomu got taken in by this guy?

Surly he didn't seriously believe that he was wanted
to promote a world wide kick boxing league.

Why the hell would a promoter of a kick boxing
league, want to use a retired rugby union player?

Also, the fact that he said he would pay Lomu 18.5
million , must of sent alarm bells ringing in Lomu's
camp.

It didn't though, is Lomu's ego this big?, he thought
this was his value on the sports market?

The NewZealand media cant wash their hands of
this, people like Brendan Telfer have been telling
lies to the kiwi public for over 15 years, that Lomu
is this huge global superstar, I never thought Lomu
himself would believe it himself, but apparently he did.

Lomu is a victim here, but he wouldn't been a
victim if he didn't have such a delusion of
grandeur.

A very harsh lesson for him to learn.

Next lesson should be, if some offers you
a ton of money to promote a sport you
have nothing to do with, think again.

Time will tell if he does think again.

Mark Reason is a Fuckin Idiot

Mark Reason is the poster child for New Zealand
sporting Journalists, he sums them up, if you wanted
to show the world what the average sporting Journo
in New Zealand is like, you would show them one of
Mark Reason's stories.

His latest vile piece, shows his sheer stupidity.

He did an item about the Ryder's cup and wrote
how good it was that the Europeans beat the USA.

He like all kiwi Journos, had to mention his precious
Rugby and how America only play sports that they
like.

Well listen very carefully Mark Reason.

Basketball, Baseball, Ice Hockey are a 1000
times more popular globally than fuckin Rugby
Union could ever dream to be.

More people outside New Zealand and the USA
know who LeBron James is, than Dan Carter.

More people know about the Heat or the Yankees,
than the fuckin All Blacks.

Stop lying and trying to create a myth that sports
like Baseball and Basketball are somehow just
American sports, but Rugby is known all
around the globe, it anit.

Get the chip of your shoulder and deal with it.

Hey All Blacks, Dont piggyback on Adams

(The All Blacks is the nickname of the New Zealand
Rugby Union team)

Make no mistake, the All Blacks don't give a fuck
about Valerie Adams. People should've seen this
coming, as soon as the news was released that
Kiwi shot-putter Valerie Adams would be
promoted to the Gold Medal, the NZRFU
would somehow try to piggyback on the story.

When the news was released, everybody in New
Zealand celebrated, our silver medalist in London
will be promoted to Gold because of the drug
cheat from Belarus.

Within 12 hours of the story though, the New Zealand
media must of received a memo from the NZRFU,
because the headlines were NOT about Valerie
Adams, but about how the All Blacks support her
and love her and believe she should have a medal
ceremony.

Well everybody believes this, and its repugnant
of the media and the All Blacks to try and get
publicity out of this, they can't  stand that
another sportsperson who plays another sport
may be in the spotlight, other than them.

I hope and wish that Valerie Adams does get
her medal ceremony, but I also wish its not
hijacked by the NZRFU and the rugby media,
who will turn it into a story about what great
guys the All Blacks are.

Because that is unfair to the sport of track and
field.

Time well tell.

Lomu the Liar at it again

You know what? I will say what needs to
be said, fuck you Johan Lomu and mostly fuck the
media who keeps doing it.

Don't get me wrong, I totally agree your a
courageous man, fighting an awful medical
condition, you have never committed a crime,
but here is why I'm saying fuck you to you and
the New Zealand sporting media.

Your disingenuous, the media is disingenuous and
it's gone pass the stage of satire.

Yes I fully agree that a French film maker is doing
a short doco on your life, I fully agree the media should
cover this story, but once again, you have waited to
announce this at the worst possible time.

Every fuckin one of your major press statements over the
past six years has happened before a major sporting event.

Just before the Football world cup, the Basketball world
champs, the commenwealth games, the womans world cup,
the first leg against Bahrain, the return leg against Bahrain,
you and your partners in crime, the NZ media, release a
so called major story about your fuckin life.

You rushed a pregnant woman to hospital, your going to
get your own cartoon, your taking up boxing, you help
out after a car accident, etc etc etc, and now your
getting your own doco, all this just happens to happen
right before a HUGE event that YOUR NOT involved
in.

The media needs to be ashamed, fairfax, nzherald, tvnz
radio New Zealand, for allowing you and your agent
(your wife) to keep doing this, to try and take some
of the spotlight away from other sportspeople doing
their sports in New Zealand.

This is beyond the joke, can this country's media
actually forget about Johan fuckin Lomu even for a small
three week period?

I certainly anit holding my breath on this one.

Comical Plagiarizer

Remember last year when Ali Williams disrespected
Journos, by answering questions for SBW and vice
versa and remember NZ Journos just standing their
clapping like trained circus seals (apart from tv3)

Well this unfunny routine was once again an example
of  NZRFU plagiarism.

It was a clear cut copy of an interview, Robert DeNiro and
Dustin Hoffman did, (although theirs was funny)

Why do people involved in Rugby Union have to plagiarize,
thru out the decades, it doesnt matter what asepct of the
game it is, they just have to copy copy copy, and of
course NewZealand sporting Journos just shut up and
say nothing, like these guys are geniuses.

Well it's disgusting, but I except nothing less from this
sport.

Will it ever change?

Time will tell.

NZRFU Uses Shirt as a Red Herring

Make no mistake, Steve Tew and the NZRFU are very
very sneaky, they are also liars and the media is playing
into Steve Tew's hands.

This false outrage they are trying to promote in the media
is pure BS. There have been logos on the New Zealand
Rugby Shirt before, there is one now of a certain footware
company.

But this has nothing to do with a shirt, it has to do with
Steve Tew and the NZRFU playing a trick on the NZ
Public.

You see, when ever another sport or competition gets
into the spotlight, the NZRFU call their buddies up
in the media, they drop a red herring or two, to try
and take the public's mind away from that sport.

Heaven forbid the public would be watching something
for a few weeks, instead of their precious Rugby union.

Just wait and see,  as the Olympics get closer and closer
the media will start promoting this non story, there will
also be breaking news stories the day before and the
day after the start of the Olympics, about Lomu, they
will be the same rehashed stories, they used before the
Football world cup in 2010, The basketball world champs,
the cricket world cup, and the Warriors run to the playoffs
in 2011.

It never ends with the NZRFU and the New Zealand media,
they work in hand in hand for their goal of "Hey dont follow
that sport, look over here, there is a big rugby story that is
more important"

It's a disgrace to Journalism in this country and a slap
in the face to every sportsperson who plays a sport
that isn't rugby.

It anit going to change either.

Hey Steve Tew

Hey Steve, I bet he's not as distressed as the woman
he has allegedly raped.

TVNZ keeps it quiet

I guess it's because of who they are. I mean it's not
like it was a club rugby league player being drunk.
Now that would be big news.

The way the  NZ media behaves when reporting allege
crimes is different depending on the code the person plays.

This is a serious case,  Here's hoping the allege victim
will get justice and the truth will come out.

Hey Bar Owners, You Can Show Respect to Non Rugby Fans Also

(Update, heard from the business owners, and they were
very polite, much appreciate it)

So it's come to this has it, as a Nation in 2012, New
Zealand is at this level.

Sure this is a small gripe and with what's gone on in
New Zealand over the past 12 months, it shouldn't
matter, but small things do matter in  the big picture.

So I went to a bar last night with a friend for a meal
and to watch the cricket match between New Zealand
and South Africa, the waitress was great, the meal
was nice for a pub meal $25bucks, steak was kinda
small, but over all not bad. We then went to the Cashier,
who was great, and sat down near one of the big
screens TV to watch the cricket, there might of been
a dozen or so other people there, happily watching the
cricket.

One guy came in, talked to the bar manager, and he switched
it to a Rugby Union match between Otago and Waikato,
(Im not in either of those cities BTW, far from them)

A couple of people said, "Hey we are watching the cricket", the
bar manager just walked off. Myself and my mate just
walked out, I know it's our national sport, but should
one rugby fan  be worth more than 12 fans of another
sport, is this the level we are at in this country?

I could understand if it was a test match, or we
were in the city of the two clubs playing, but
surly this was just  a case of typical  rugby
people and their attitude to another sport.

So we walked to the bar down the street, sat down,
they had the cricket on, about half a dozen people
were in there, one rather drunk guy walked in, went
to that bar manager, and she turned on the rugby,
someone said "people were watching that" she walked
off, I yelled "Seriously, ya kidding me right" and
walked out.

If this was an isolated incident, then perhaps I
would be fine with it, but it's not,  I'm sick of Rugby people
getting their way and dominating over everything
else, National game or not, this is pathetic.

The media cant wash their hands of this, promoting
this minority sport globally over everything else.

So many incidents over my life time has left me
gobsmacked, when it comes to the sport of
Rugby Union,  this was just one very small incident
that happened twice in one day.

Unbelievable.

Halberg's Sporting Moment Fix

Most people would agree this year the Halberg's got it
right.

There was a very sinister element to this year's Halbergs
though.

It was thru the fan voted, sporting moment of the year
award.

For some reason it was leaked by the NZRFU that
the Warriors were beating their rugby team for the
award so they went to the media, and the internet
was blasted with stories that the  All Blacks (New
Zealand's rugby team) might lose to the Warriors,
so the NZRFU wanted fans to vote for The All
Blacks.

No other sporting body did this, IMHO it was quite
sick for a sports body that is the most powerful in
New Zealand to resort to this tactic, and for them
to have the voting information on what sports
was winning the fan vote, well surly that is morally
wrong and could be called a fix.

I would like to know if other codes had this information
and why would the media print it?

Again another low blow by those involved with Rugby
Union at other sports in this country.

Shame.

Wellington Sevens Biggest Con job to hit New Zealand Sport

For 12 straight years the NZRFU and the New Zealand
media have pulled a con job on the New Zealand public.

For 12 straight years they have done this and not one
Journo has had the integrity to call them up on it.

It is a brilliant but repugnant piece of viral marketing,
the partners in crime are  Sky Television, The Media,
The brewery companies, TVNZ,  Radio Sport and
the NZRFU.

As you watch the Wellington Sevens you will notice
normal kiwis dressed up, drinking beer and having
a good time.

You will also notice their is a lot of attractive people
going to the game together,  drinking beer, dancing,
playing up for the camera, while TV Journalists laugh
and cheer them on.

What these Journos like Andrew Saville won't tell you,
is those good looking people the media keeps showing
you, on the internet, in print and on television are actually
Models that are paid to be there to give the event a
hot glamorous look.

The NZRFU along with the breweries companies are in
on this.

They wont tell the public they are paid models, the media
will go along with the lie that they are every day fans who
love their rugby, while the every day fan misses out on
tickets.

This is a disgusting piece of viral marketing, to hire good
looking people to act as fans is well pathetic more than
disgusting.

Too bad the media wont say a word, the likes of Brendan
Telfer and Andrew Saville should be ashamed, 12 years
of lies.

Will there be one Journo who will write about this?

I doubt it, you need to have integrity  to do the right
thing.
(Update, I should add, what I have written is
my theory and  three years ago a writer for the
Sunday Star Times emailed me and confirmed it, but he
never published it in their paper)

Andrew Saville and Other NZ Journos

Hey Andrew Saville, Craig Stanaway, Jack Tame,
Brendan Telfer, Phil Gifford, Joesph Romanos, could
you please do me a favour and shut the fu*k up about
fu*kin Rugby for two seconds.

Yes, I know it's our national sport, and I know last
year was the world cup, but why oh do you have to knock
other sports in 2012.

Do you think it makes your insignificant minority sport
outside our country look better when you have a go
at other codes???

Why do you have to contuine to tell the public, that
all these other sporting teams arent as courageous or
as athletic  as the mighty mother fu*kin All Blacks.

You are aware that all over the world people are
just as passionate about their teams and sports, but
you guys think its some kind of major crime, hell
that hatred you guys show to other sports is sick.

So here is a plea, drop the hate, during Olympics
please dont criticize, please dont ask the overseas
sport people, what do they think of our might rugby
players, because guess what they havent heard of
him.

Show Bolt, Show Lebron James, show Phelps the
respect they deserve, but I dont think you will, I
don't think you will have the integrity  as Journos
to do this.

You will mock any other sport star that is loved
globally, (just because you think it takes away from
the unknown Dan Carter) you will ask pathetic questions
to the Russians and the Chinese, like "What do you
think of the All Blacks?"

You will laugh and snigger at everybody there, because
in your sick ugly little minds, no one is worthy of
praise, unless they play Rugby.

Well how about giving it as rest, and report on the sports
that the world cares about and not a sport where the players
are only known in a  handful of countries and the world doesnt
give a sh*t about.

Time will tell.

If Zac Guildford was a Rugby League Player

TVNZ: Another blackeye for the sport
of Rugby League today as more thuggish
behavior from a code that has it's fair share
of ugly incidents. When will Rugby league
players stop abusing and assaulting people
and should the game be banned in some schools
so the code can finally learn its lesson.

Brendan Telfer: This is animal type behavior
it just doesn't belong, what parent would want
their kid to play that game, throw him in jail,
throw the lot in jail, he's an adult and there
should be no excuse for his behavior. His
contract must be torn up.

TV3: A terrible year for Rugby League has
just got worse, a year that saw its players
getting drunk, smashing up hotel rooms and
assaulting innocent members of the public, now has the
drunken lout Zac Guildford embarrassing
himself and his country and ruined a family's
wedding. Make no mistake its not a problem
with booze he has, it's a problem with acting human,
like all league players he is a disgrace.

NZHerald: Has Rugby league player Zac
Guilford finally killed off the sport of rugby league?
This repulsive, disgusting behavior is not acceptable
in this day and age and no excuse can be made, to
blame the booze is just another excuse from the
heads of Rugby League to shift the blame, and
the public shouldn't accept it anymore.

Why an All Blacks win would Kill New Zealand Sport

(The All Blacks are the nickname of New Zealand's
National Rugby team)

If the All Blacks win the Rugby World Cup, the country
will celebrate like crazy, we will be happy for months
and months on end, and New Zealanders
deserve to celebrate after the year we have had.

In saying this though, in the long run an All Blacks
victory will kill New Zealand sport, it will be the
death of sport in this country and we will never
recover.

Rugby is our national sport, which is good if your
a rugby fan, but unlike other countries national sports,
Rugby has a habit of walking all over every other sport
to a point where if you say you like another sport over
Rugby, or don't follow the All Blacks that closely, you
are likely to be physically assaulted.

We have always been told wrongly, that the All Blacks
are loved thru out the world and even last night, Mark
Watson made  one of the most factually incorrect statements
yet, by saying the All Blacks are the greatest team in
the history of world sport, a bold thing to say considering
90% of the world has never heard of the All Blacks.

But lets get back to the death of New Zealand sport,
the media, the likes of Brendan Telfer and Andrew
Saville for some reason tell the NewZealand public
that these All Blacks have the speed of world class
sprinters, could change codes (not just rugby league)
and fit into any other national team.

What an insult to our track and field runners, our
Basketballers, our footballers, that thanks to the
media, the public think just because someone is
an All Black they must be better at anything that
any other sports person does.

You could walk down the street and ask
100 people who are faster?, The All Blacks
or the New Zealand four by 100 relay team
and I'm guessing 95% of people would say
The All Blacks, you could ask any NewZealander
could the All Blacks make the NFL and they
would answer yes, heck you could ask them
could the All Blacks make the NBA and they
would answer yes.

What an insult this is to the New Zealanders
who actually played Basketball and American
Football and have made the NFL and NBA and what a insult
to our track team.

Take a look, when overseas sports stars come
to New Zealand, the first thing the media asks
them is "What do you think of the All Blacks?"

Take a look at the history of our country, kids
getting the cane at school  because they want to play
Rugby league or Soccer instead of Rugby Union.

This is where we are at now and always have
been, if we win the 2011 world cup, it will be
a thousand times worse, and it will kill NewZealand
sport.

Funding for sports deemed to be in competition with
Rugby Union, (Basketball, Football, Rugby League,
Track and Field, Swimming) will be cut by Sparc.

Schools will only pour money into Rugby Union,
no other kid no matter how talented will get a look
in, and generations of sporting talent will be lost.

The media will again try to totally ignore achievements
by other codes, and it will  be continue to be drummed into
us that the All Blacks could make the switch to any sport
and be better.

There will be be meetings with  media giants that they
arent to focus on any sport that could take public
attention away, less and less sports will be covered,
thus  sport will die a slow and painful death.

Every sponsor will try and align with the sport
of Rugby Union and the money will dry up.

If an  All Black has a brush with the law,
it will be swept under carpet, if a player from
another code's has a  brush with the law, he will be called
a villain.

Like I said this is happening now, but if The All
Blacks win the Rugby World Cup, this will
increase to such a level that sport in this
country will die, and it will only be the All
Blacks that will ever get any sort of praise
or coverage or sponsorship that is needed
to keep a sport alive.

At the beginning of this post, I said an All
Blacks victory will be great for the country
after the shocking year NewZealand has
had, it will make people happy and give
people some wonderful memories, it's
just too bad it comes with a much heavier
price.

The death of sport in New Zealand.

Chris Evans Interview

Saturday, October 8, 2011

Corey Jane Caught Drinking and Smoking

New Zealand All Black, Corey Jane has been
caught drinking heavily and smoking in a bar
just three days out from the quarterfinal against
Argentina at the rugby world cup he was with
fellow All Black Israel Dagg

Too me this sums up how far behind the rest
of the professional sporting world Rugby is.

The media cannot wash their hands of this, and
I'm not writing this from any moral stance on
drinking and smoking, I'm writing this because I
know what other sporting codes go through.

Take Sean Marks's career as an NBA player,
he was a bench player for the Spurs, he got
maybe a half dozen minutes a game at his peak,
during the NBA finals series, when he wasnt needed
as a player but just a squad member, he spent every
possible minute trying to get his team the championship
ring, there is no way in hell three days out from a
playoff game he would be drinking and smoking.

I'm kinda guessing the New Zealand media is
going through their usual BS, saying it does
no harm and that Colin Meads did it after  a
days work on the farm.

Well I'm sorry but Colin Meads played an amateur
sport in the 1960's, where you could of gotten away
with it.

It's the year 2011 and the average NZ sporting fan
(thanks to our media) is so behind the times, they
probably think it's okay that professional sports players
drink and smoke before a big event, but it anit.

Sport science is multi billion dollar industry for a
reason, the top global sports in the world uses
sport scientists because they know the difference
they can make in performance.

Rugby in New Zealand has shown how far behind
they really are, and how much they have to catch
up to the professionalism of the NBA and NFL
and the top swimmers and rowers of the world,
it's too bad our media will never tell you this, and
its sad that the public still think a few beers or
cigarettes will never hurt you before a game, well
it can make the difference between winning and
losing, it seems someone forgot to tell the All
Blacks this.

Man United Football legend talks to Will
Carling about England's Rugby chances.

Dan Carter is not dying

Dan Carter is not dying.

Dan Carter doesn't have cancer.

Dan Carter doesn't have a disease that can kill him.

Dan Carter  has a groin injury.

It's not a tragic event.

It's not something that needs to be followed 24/7
by the media.

Dan Carter may be one heck of a nice guy, I don't
know I have never meet him.

The media though is going over the top with
their coverage here, interviewing all that
know him, reporters close to tears.

Again to the the likes of Brendan Telfer and
the country, he has a Groin injury, we don't
have to go into mourning, I'm sure Dan isn't.
