Did the Broncos make the right choice today by signing Peyton Manning? I know that Peyton Manning is one of the best to ever play the game...but Tebow was such a fan favorite and he is very young. And with the uncertainty of Manning's throwing strength and how his neck will be. It's a risk. But there is also a huge reward. Like I stated, he is one of the best to play the game. I think Peyton will have a good season there if he is healthy. The one thing Manning has always been able to do is turn mediocre wide receivers into talent. As for leading Denver to the Super Bowl, well, I think he is a little ways from that still.
On another note, I easily thought of a landing spot for Tebow since his name is now in trade rumors. He needs to be a Miami Dolphin. He needs to go back to Florida. He needs to help excite a franchise who missed out on everything this offseason. And he is young enough to build around and his mechanics can be fixed as well. This is a guy who is a leader on and off the field and a role model. He has talent and with a few tweaks, he can help lead Miami to the playoffs just as he led Denver.
Overall, its going to take a lot of adjusting to see Peyton in another uniform. And especially seeing it on cardboard. Speaking of that...will this move in his career be beneficial to his cards or will it hurt them? I don't have an opinion on that yet, but I do know that only time can tell.
