Triathlon is a Stupid Sport... and so are you!

Just joking, Charles. I'm a triathlete and while I think you did miss the mark in a few instances, I agree with the majority of what you say. I completed a few "Ironman" races a while back but now boycott them simply for the reason you list. It doesn't make sense and I'm not going to be part of it.

So yeah, I'll still do a few triathlons and even an independent Iron-Distance race. But for the most part of traded my halter top and 4 inch shorts for trail shoes and a handheld water bottle.

You have more courage than I do, but kudos for speaking your mind.

I am also interested in posting from guest bloggers on any subject. If you want to write something and get it read without having to go through the trouble of making a blog and building a readership, send it to me. You won't be paid for this work, so make it a labor of love. Also, be sure to use a lot of cuss words. I like those.
