Cheat and Liar

Meet the Olympics biggest Cheat and Liar.

Nadzeya Ostapchuk of Belarus.

Not only did she lose her Gold medal for taking
steroids, she is now saying the new Gold medal,
Valerie Adams is a cheat and took steroids in
2005.

That is a lie, Valerie Adams has never taken drugs
and never failed a drug test.

It's one thing to be a drug cheat, but to accuse
others that are clean is disgusting, and shows that
you have no morals, and your certainly not
a decent person.

Here's hoping the Olympics will ban her forever.

Time will tell.

Great Olympics

Best ever.

The hosts Great Britain did an amazing job, the Great
Britain team far exceeded expectations, so many highlights.

New Zealand won five gold medals, and 13 medals overall,
we tied our best medal haul, and our five golds were the best
since 1984.

Michael Phelps proved that he is the greatest Olympian
in history, and the USA are the greatest sporting nation
on Earth.

The Chinese hurdler who injured himself created an
iconic moment by hopping 100 metres after the race
and then being help by his fellow competitors.

Who can also forget the coolest guy there, Usain
Bolt, and the coolest sports team, the USA men's
basketball team.

Hats off also to Canada, a winter Olympic Nation
who won 18 medals!!

Well done to all.

NZRFU Uses Shirt as a Red Herring

Make no mistake, Steve Tew and the NZRFU are very
very sneaky, they are also liars and the media is playing
into Steve Tew's hands.

This false outrage they are trying to promote in the media
is pure BS. There have been logos on the New Zealand
Rugby Shirt before, there is one now of a certain footware
company.

But this has nothing to do with a shirt, it has to do with
Steve Tew and the NZRFU playing a trick on the NZ
Public.

You see, when ever another sport or competition gets
into the spotlight, the NZRFU call their buddies up
in the media, they drop a red herring or two, to try
and take the public's mind away from that sport.

Heaven forbid the public would be watching something
for a few weeks, instead of their precious Rugby union.

Just wait and see,  as the Olympics get closer and closer
the media will start promoting this non story, there will
also be breaking news stories the day before and the
day after the start of the Olympics, about Lomu, they
will be the same rehashed stories, they used before the
Football world cup in 2010, The basketball world champs,
the cricket world cup, and the Warriors run to the playoffs
in 2011.

It never ends with the NZRFU and the New Zealand media,
they work in hand in hand for their goal of "Hey dont follow
that sport, look over here, there is a big rugby story that is
more important"

It's a disgrace to Journalism in this country and a slap
in the face to every sportsperson who plays a sport
that isn't rugby.

It anit going to change either.

Netball the Worst Thing For Woman's Sport in NewZealand

Without a doubt the worst thing to happen to
Woman's sport in New Zealand is the sport
of Netball and The Silver Ferns are the very
worst thing to happen to sport for females.

For those people outside of New Zealand who
read this blog, Netball is a watered down
version of Basketball, that is huge in New
Zealand  and is 99% played by females.

It must be so frustrating if your a female and you
want to take up a sport, that Netball is your
first option thru the schools system.

It is so frustrating that if your a female
sportperson in this country you will
have to play Netball to get any sort
of decent coverage for your achievements.

Countless of cases through out the schools
of young girls wanting to play Basketball
or Football, or take up Track and Field
or Swimming, only to be told, no you have
to play Netball.

Never has a sport had such a Superiority
complex than Netball has, they really
believe their sport should have rights
over all others, and that attitude has been
hurting other female sports.

Yet if you bring this up, they can always
use the catch phrase of "Your just
saying this, because it's woman's sport"
which of course is utter BS.

Countless of sporting achievements by female
sports people, such as Sophia Baker, Martine
Puketapu,Natalie Taylor to name but a few, go
unnoticed because of the Journalistic Whores
in our media.

Lets get one thing straight, Netball is the most
insignificant non existent sport on the planet.
Nobody but New Zealand cares about it, in
Australia our so called arch rivals, Woman's
Basketball is taken far more seriously, but if
you listened to our media you wouldn't
believe it.

It's a shame, that sports such as Football,
Basketball, Swimming, Track and Field
and Volleyball are missing out on some
female stars because of the the Journalistic
Rape committed by Brendan Telfer and
Joseph Ramanos.

It's good for them to keep Netball in the
spotlight, they can say they are doing their
job, by promoting woman's sport, but they
aren't promoting it, they are killing it, by putting
this in the spotlight above our other international
female sporting teams.

New Zealanders may find this hard to swallow,
but you could teach a College girls Basketball team
anywhere on the planet the rules of Netball and
within two months they would thrash the Silver
Ferns by 50 points.

But don't expect to hear that from our media.

WHAT A WAY TO START THE SEASON

What a way to start the season, not just the Pack, but
for the whole NFL.

Aaron Rodgers was breathtaking in his performance,
he threw when it mattered most and his numbers proved
it.  27/35 for 312 yards and three touchdowns, if you
were his coach, you will be giving him an extra pat on
the back.

When you scored touchdowns on four of your first five
possessions you win the game, sure it got tense in the end,
but the pack hold on against a Saints team, who's own
quaterback,   Brees was firing 32/49 419 yards,
 for three touchdowns.

But it was Rodgers who controlled things, and the Pack
ended the win to go 1-0 and should be well pleased,
along with the rabid fans.

If the rest of the games in round one  are like this and if
the rest of the season is like this, well we are in for
one hell of a season.

Fingers are crossed!

Are you Ready for the Football?

A new season is coming up, and it starts tomorrow,
what will 2011/2012 bring? Hopefully a Superbowl
title to the Cardinals. Could this be the Arizona
Cardinals year?

Preseason was hopeful, all  the cards wanted was a
connection between Kevin and Larry and they got it!
So despite some bookmakers thinking the Cards have
no chance, well think again, the Panthers are in for a
lot of hurt this weekend.

You have to feel sorry for the Colts though, losing Manning
for week one is not the way to start a season, if he ends
up being out for longer, then it's bye bye this season before
week one starts.

The opening match of the season is the Saints Versus the
Packers, and I'm guessing this will be the match of week one.

I love the eve of a big sporting comp, the NFL is amazing
to watch, with some of the fastest, most athletic men on
the planet.

Lets hope in a few months time, it will be the Cardinals having
one heck of a party!

Time will tell.

Euro Basketball Champs

There is a sport event that Europe is glued too at the
moment, it's the biggest International  team sporting event
this year, the papers in Europe, the internet sites, Television,
Radio who would normally be talking about Football  are
talking about Basketball, The US Open may be on, but
Nadal is not making the front pages, but Dirk Nowitzki is.

It's the Euro Basketball Champs, and the top players from
Tony Parker to  Boris Diaw to Dirk, are not not only trying
to win the Euro Basketball Champs for their country, but
trying to get their country to the Olympics.

The second most popular team sport in the world, deserves
to be all over the media in Europe, it deserves to hold it's
place with the US Tennis Open and Football.

I'm still picking Germany to win it all,  Serbia seems to be
the hot favourite, and you an never count Spain,
a powerhouse of European Basketball, although they
seem to be a veteran team.

It's been a great comp so far, and I'm glad to see
some brilliant Basketball played by these teams,
and hopefully New Zealand is keeping an eye on
these games, because if we fall to Australia in our
upcoming series, then we will have to play some
of these teams in our quest for the Olympics.

A lot riding on the next couple of weeks, time will
tell if there will be a 100 thousand Germans dancing
in the street or if it will the Spanish celebrating yet
another world title at a truly world sport.

I'm going with Germany.

Usain Bolts out of the Blocks too fast

Say it anit so? The fastest man in History had a false start
in the 100 metres final of the track and field world champs.

Bolt told the media, that he wont cry, but Im guessing his
competitors will in the final of the 200 metres, I'm also
guessing we are going to see the 200 metres world record
smashed.

Lets hope this great sportsperson can comeback and show the
world why he  the greatest sprinter ever.

The Halbergs Awards

The Halberg awards got it mostly right with their
Nominations. The All Whites (New Zealand Football Team)
The Kiwis (NewZealand's Rugby League team) and our
Rowers had to be Nominated, they were far above any
other New Zealand Team in 2010.

Where they got it wrong was The Tall Blacks (New Zealand's
Basketball Team) missing out, making the playoffs at the world
champs and beating Russia and France along the way was
freakin brilliant.

Nominating The Silver Ferns and the All Blacks was just plain stupid
and was a suck up to those sports and their supporters. Also how
does Gordon Tietjens always get a Nod???

Coach of the year has to be Ricki Herbert, sportsperson has to
be Ryan Nelsen.

The moment of the year is voted by the fans, this
is  where Chief Judge Brendan Telfer has been manipulative
in trying to get the public to vote for his precious
Silver Ferns over the more deserving All Whites.

This is such an important Halbergs, the judges have
to prove they have some decency and honesty, and
more importantly the public has to prove to the judges
that they don't buy their BS anymore.

Believe me, the History of New Zealand sport is at
sake. Which way will we go?

Time will tell.

Ricki Herbert to Appeal, NZRFU controls Phoenix Coverage?

Fans are being  urged  to show support for the Wellington Phoenix
coach by wearing a Ricki Herbert mask for the next three games.

Rick who has been banned for three weeks,
(a long time for a coach) for verbally abusing a ref, in
what has to be the worst desicion in a long for the
A League.

Here's hoping there will be ten thousand Rick Herbert's
in attendance. Wellington will appeal the ban, but it's unlikely
it will be overturn, time will tell.

My final thoughts on the game, and this
came to me following the forum, the yellow fever,
was why did Sky Sport NOT show the yellow fever
supporters when the goal got scored, they instead
focus on some little kids.

IMHO the answer is sinister, I firmly believe this has the
finger prints of the NZRFU who is instructing the media to
try and make Football among several other sports look less
exciting by focusing on the less excited people in the crowd.

It may be a bizzare conspiracy therory, but I have seen
it happen  too many times thruout the years to think
it's just poor camerawork.

Someone is behind this, and someone wants
it to happen, so why not the NZRFU?

Just my thoughts.
