Alanah Eriksen late runner for Worst Jounro

Is Alanah Eriksen a late runner for worst
Jounro of the year.

She recently did an article on Universities
giving out Honorary degrees and how
much these costs.

She listed the great Peter Snell as someone
who has received one of these at cost to
the University. He got one from Massey.

What she has failed to do is explain to her
readers the degrees that Peter Snell earned.

He gained a B.S. in Human Performance from the University of
California, Davis, and then a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology
from Washington State University. He joined University
of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas as
a research fellow in 1981. He is Associate Professor,
Department of Internal Medicine and also Director
of their Human Performance Center. A member
of the American College of Sports Medicine, Snell
was honoured in 1999 as an Inaugural Inductee,
International Scholar, into the Athlete Hall of Fame,
University of Rhode Island.

Why would she leave this out?

Peter Snell is one of the most respected men in his
field on the globe.

Yet Alanah tried to make out, that he only has  a
honorary.

Disgraceful journalism.

Here's hoping our Journos will try better in 2013.

I anit holding my breath.

Jacob Oram Retires

Best news New Zealand cricket has has
in years, one of the most selfish, injury prone,
lazy and I mean lazy players has retired from
international cricket.

Now someone decent may be offered a contract.

Time will tell.

Did the NZRFU have a hand in Sparc Funding

I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but this one,
I tend to believe.

It's not beyond reality to think that the NZRFU would
have a quiet word with Sparc about what sports they
will fund.

Now Im not saying they did this to boost their own funding,
but it would be in their best interests if a sport that they
deem to be in competition with rugby, doesn't get any
money.

That sport is Basketball.

It doesn't hurt the NZRFU if Equestrian gets millions,
because that is not going to effect them, but Basketball
getting a boost, would hurt Rugby, so the NZRFU would
like to see that sport suffer.

So was there back room deals?? The NZRFU already has
had secret meetings with TVNZ  (according to one Journo)
about how they cover other sports, which are in competition
with Rugby, so why not have a word with Sparc?

Stranger things have happened.

Sparc Screws Basketball again

Once again, Sparc has screwed New Zealand
Basketball.

They have just announced which sports they
will fund for the next four years and Basketball
didn't get a cent.

Equestrian, Rugby Sevens, and Field Hockey
got millions though.

But a sport that is so hugely popular internationally,
didnt get a cent.

How is New Zealand suppose to compete?

It's easy to win at sports, the rest of the world,
dont care about, hard to win at a big global sport.

Too bad the morons at Sparc, cant figure that out.

The Hypocrisy of The Standard

The reason why I started this blog in 2008,
was summed up today, by the far left NewZealand
website, "The Standard"

They are the very meaning of hypocrisy.

For the past few days after the tragic event in Newtown,
CT, these so called caring left wing people, ripped into
the USA and didn't give any sympathy to the victims, instead
they felt the need to bring up Iraq and Gaza, and ask what
about sympathy for these victims??

Which is highly insensitive, cruel and somewhat repugnant.

Now Fiji is about to be hit by a cyclone, and the same posters
whop failed to give a hoot about the children murdered in the
USA, are posting thoughts and wishes to the people of Fiji,
saying we need to help them, even though Fiji has their
military in Iraq, like the USA.

There was no bringing up war when talking about
the disaster in Fiji, no bringing up the military government
there, and what they have done, they just bought up the
cyclone.

This anti USA bullshit has to stop in New Zealand.

The left wingers in New Zealand are so hypocritical, they
talk of love and peace and helping your fellow man, but
lets face it, they are only about helping your fellow man,
if their fellow man is against capitalism and the USA.

What happened over at the standard the past few days
was disgraceful, not only disgraceful in terms of political
blogging, but disgraceful in terms if the standards of human
decency, they were quite sick if you ask me.

The posters there are on the same level as Westbro Church,
they just have a different agenda.

It's a agenda we don't need in New Zealand.

Its a agenda the human race doesn't need.

Let me make it clear, what they should've written about the
massacre in Newtown is "Our thoughts and wishes go out
to the victims and their families"

and not the pure hatred that they wrote.

I guess their are just some ugly people in the world,
what makes them worse is the hypocritical/self-righteous
of these people.

They're New Zealand's shame of the internet.

One day they may grow an actual heart.

But I'm anit holding my breath.

Man taking picture

Okay I was watching the news, then was about to
go, outside to check on my dog.

There was a guy standing in the middle of the road,
directly facing my driveway, taking a picture of my dog.

He then moved to the footpath, outside my gate and
took another picture of my dog.

He then just walked out.

Strange and weird, and a bit concerning.

Breaking: "Jesse Ryder's career is Over"

Jesse Ryder's career is over, less than
and hour ago, he tweeted...

"Angers me watching @RossTaylor getting
dumped on. Show him some fucking support
NZC.

That's it for Ryder, if the media has enough balls
to report on this tweet, that's it for Ryder, he's
turned this somewhat scandal into a big story,
by bad mouthing his employers in public, he will
never play for New Zealand again.

To Robyn Malcolm, Helen Kelly, The Unions and Peta

You made it your mission to try and ruin and stop,
one of the most important events this country has
seen, a big part of this country future depended on this
event, and because of your own ideology you tried to
brainwash the public for your selfish needs.

Guess what, you failed big time, you now have egg all
over your face, (dont worry they're free range, peta)

Aren't New Zealanders lucky that we stood by, what
we believed in, and not what a small amount of socialist bullies
believed in.

A great day.

The Hobbit

Well done Peter Jackson, you have made New Zealand
proud and a lot of money.

Our country owes you a big thank you.

You're a genius, you're at the top of your field, every
kiwi should tip their hat to you, for what you have done.

On December 13th 2012, the world is going to marvel
at the magic you have created at 48 frames per second,
and the world will be transfixed at how beautiful our country
is.

A big thanks to Warner Bros and MGM for giving New
Zealand a chance, as you can see we kiwis love the Hobbit,
Jackson and movies.

Roll on December 13th.

I cant wait.

Peter Snell is Right

In Peter Snell, we have one of the worlds leading
person in the field of Exercise Physiology, too
bad New Zealand has not recognized him for
this.

As for the comments by kiwis to Snell's speech,
well we should be disgusted by our own ignorance.

The media can't wash their hands of this attitude, for too
they have been telling us that "Our sports people need
to go to Colin Meads Farm"

Well thats the last thing they need to do.

Our sports people need to listen to the brilliant brain
of Peter Snell and take note of his achievements in
exercise physiology, that he has advanced.

He is a legend because of this.

Too bad Kiwis just live in the dark ages, cant appreciate
what he has done.

David Bain Juror

A very very brave Juror has spoken on TV
about the David Bain trial, the laws in New
Zealand are very very strict about what Jurors
can say to the media, and what the media can
write about.

Basically she said, that is was a bit wrong that
one juror, had google papers written by
Bain's lawyer Joe Karam, and printed it out for other Juror's
to read. (the papers weren't part of evidence presented)

She also didn't like that a couple of Juror members went to
the house where the Bain murderers took place without anyone
in authority with them, she also didn't like that a jury member, hugged
David Bain after the not guilty verdict, and a couple of jury
members partied with him all night.

She wrote to the Canadian Judge who is overseeing, if Bain
should be compensated or not, and the judge said he cannot
listen to her, yet this same judge is reading Joe Karam's book.

Hats off to her for speaking out, if this was reversed, Joe Karam
would be going nuts right now.

This whole case would put me off jury duty, it's a shame that
some jury members would appear to be bias going in.

Again hats off to this Jury member for speaking out.

New Zealander of the year, IMHO.

The Truth Will Set Cameron Slater Free

Cameron Slater has become the new editor
at the newspaper, "The Truth"

Cameron Slater is the owner of the right
wing blog, "Whale Oil" which is New Zealand's
biggest blog.

He is famous here in New Zealand for naming
famous people who get charged convicted
of various crimes, despite the courts granting name
suppression.

The truth newspaper was most famous in the
80's for being  a tabloid paper with page three
girls and sleazy ads at the back.

At the moment I would say Cameron Slater's
blog will get more hits than  The Truth's newspaper
sales.

Although some people might think this is no big
deal, if Cameron Slater can turn this paper around
and maybe make it like New Zealand's own little
newspaper version of Fox News, it might work.

The media here leans so far to the left, that anyone
on the far left is held in high esteem and dare not be
criticized, this might change all this.

Although I'm centre left myself, I say hats off
to Cameron Slater, who despite being very
right wing, is very much outspoken about gay
rights and a gay person's right to marry.

Who knows what will happen with The Truth,
I think I will wait for the online version, before
I look at the print version.

The Truth's first run with Cameron Slater as
editor is on November 8th.

Here's hoping it will be a good one.

Time will tell.

New Zealand Protests Hate

To the vile vile people who desecrated  the Jewish
graves in New Zealand, our country hate the hate
that you guys promote.

It was disgusting what you did, how sick can some
people be?

You guys are on a low pare with the sick human beings
that destroyed a 9/11 memorial here in chch, two days
after it happen.

How some people can have that much hate in them is
beyond me.

NewZealanders are mostly full of love for everybody,
this type of BS, doesn't belong in our country, either
do you guys.

Well done to the people who turned up to protest hate.

Here's hoping the Graves will be restored.

Hone Harawira: A Political User

Hone Harawira is a political user. Make no mistake.

He is not an activist, he is not a political prisoner.

He is not a hero to the people, he doesn't fight for rights.

Hone Harawira is a racist and a law breaker.

Now he's trying to destroy some Police officer's careers.

Make no mistake the Police were just doing their jobs.

Of course though, Hone's friends in the media will turn
this into something it anit.

When he got arrested last night for blocking the Police,
he deserved it.

It was the typical, left wing protest, John Minto was there
screaming about police brutality.

Do guys like John Minto and Hone Harawira ever think about the
harm they're doing to the Policemen and Policewoman who
are just doing their jobs? Or the fact that their lies
and hate could lead to violence against the Police?

Of course not, all they have ever thought about is
their own ideology and personal gain.

Too bad the NewZealand media wont paint it that way,
or that their supporters will continue their hate protests
against the Police.

Here's hoping Justice will be dealt to the likes
of John Minto and Hone Harawiri.

I anit holding my breath though.

More than a piece of Cloth

I'm not an American, I'm a New Zealander who
lives in New Zealand, over the past few years,
some very patronizing  kiwi bloggers have made
some nasty comments about the states.

(The average kiwi you will be happy to know, like
and respect our American friends)

Anyway, after the trouble in  Egypt, where those
vicious rioters killed an American diplomat, a kiwi
blogger decided to write how the youtube video
was provocation and started to mention forms of
protest.

According to this blogger, you cannot burn the Koran,
but American  flag burning is okay, because in her words
"It's just a piece of cloth"

How patronizing can you get???

Here is a blogger who says she wants respect for
all people, of all nations and all cultures, but she
calls the symbol of pride of the USA, just  a
piece of cloth, I can image the smirk on her
face, when she wrote that.

Well to that Blogger, I say, every country has
its symbols, something that represents them,
it may be a flower, it may be a flag, it may
even be an animal/bird, but to those people
from those countries it means everything.

For you to call the American flag, "Just a piece of
cloth" is mean spirited, nasty and cruel, it
shows you have a real chip on your shoulder
that New Zealand has embraced the American
culture, they're our friends,  and have been
for decades, kiwis have many connections to
the states, family and friends, and yes we have
embraced American western values more than
your own, there is no need to get nasty about
it though.

We also don't have to justify, liking American
to small minded bloggers, we except everybody
in New Zealand, your culture and religion included.

Too bad  you can't show the same respect to
America that New Zealand has shown you.

Wilson Dixon New Zealand's worst standup Comedian

Wilson Dixon is not only the worst stand up
comedian New Zealand has produced, but
he must also be one of the weakest stand up
comedian's on the globe.

Can you imagine, if  someone wanted  to satirize a rock
star image, and they ended up dressing like Cliff Richard.

Can you imagine if someone wanted to satirize a pop
star and they dressed up as Jerry Lee Lewis.

Can you imagine if someone wanted to satirize a
Rap artist and they had a Basketball in their hand.

Well every Journalist, every critic, every member of the
public would boo that comedian off the stage.

For some reason though, this guy is cheered, are
kiwis this dumb? are we that ignorant of the genre
of country music, that we think this is good
satire, that we think he has perfected it?

He is not even close, to what  a good satire of
the country music genre would be.

He needs to take lessons from a Jeff Foxworthy
or a Rodney Carrington.

But hey, when you have Journalists and critics
such as the ones in New Zealand, you don't
have to be close, you don't have to be anywhere
near perfect, you just have to talk in a strange
accent about horses while wearing a hat.

His unfunny advice to wannabe country singers
to "have sex with an animal" is just pathetic and pointless,
can you imagine if a stand up comedian making fun of
the rap genre said his advice to wanna be rap singers
would be to  "Go out and attack a white woman'

There would be hell to pay.

My biggest problem with so called comedian Jesse
Dixon's alter ego, "Wilson", is that he isn't funny.

Great Olympics

Best ever.

The hosts Great Britain did an amazing job, the Great
Britain team far exceeded expectations, so many highlights.

New Zealand won five gold medals, and 13 medals overall,
we tied our best medal haul, and our five golds were the best
since 1984.

Michael Phelps proved that he is the greatest Olympian
in history, and the USA are the greatest sporting nation
on Earth.

The Chinese hurdler who injured himself created an
iconic moment by hopping 100 metres after the race
and then being help by his fellow competitors.

Who can also forget the coolest guy there, Usain
Bolt, and the coolest sports team, the USA men's
basketball team.

Hats off also to Canada, a winter Olympic Nation
who won 18 medals!!

Well done to all.
