MLB World Series Team Results!

We know there was some confusion with our contest rules. We had people picking teams, not realizing that the contest is open to US Residents only (all of our contests are like this due to shipping costs and a couple of bad experiences with shipping out of country. We apologize profusely for this rule but we have got to keep it in place) below every contest post it says this. If any of participants in group one missed this direction please let us know.

Now onto the good news! Here are the 30 involved in our World Series promo! If we get more entries, great! We will start a second group. But the group would have to hit 30 to count. But if it did we would award two prizes. So keep spreading the word and enter!

Sport Card Collectors MLB Promo

Along with our Monthly Contest Challenge, we thought it would be fun to also do an extra contest on the side. Now, there will only be one winner (maybe 2 read below). But it will be fun to see who that winner is.

Here is the promo:

You must let us know if you want in on this FREE contest by March 1st. We assume you do. The only thing you got to do is pick a team that is going to win the World Series. Each person gets one team. Once a team is chosen, that team is off from the list. A winner can only happen if a team that is chosen wins the World Series. So if we have 30 entries someone will win. We will only do 30 entries UNLESS WE CAN REACH 60 entries. So make sure you get your name in the hat as soon as possible! The first 30 will get first dibs on this contest unless we reach 60 entries then we will run two of them and figure out prizes and the set up from there.

Once you let us know that you are interested (comment below this post by March 1st), we will put your name on a list on a different post. When March 1st comes around, we will put all of the names on this list in a randomizer. Whoever the first person is gets first choice in picking any MLB team.  Then second person makes their selection and so on til every person on the list has chosen a team. We will have a different post for that that will show all of the contestants and all of the teams. The fun thing about baseball is that any team can win. Even the Royals. Sorry, Royals fans for that jab :)

By now you are probably asking, whats the prize going to be? At this point we don't know. It might be a combination of Star Player Cards, Inserts, rookies, maybe a couple of packs and a few game used or autos. We will figure that out closer to the World Series we get and we will make that announcement then.

Final NFL Week Contest!

Told you to keep an eye out on random contests as well as Monthly Ones..well here is one. To sadly say goodbye to the final week of the NFL thought we would hold a contest. In terms of prizes, a team lot of your choice (includes NYG-I will find something) this lot will be of 5-8 cards and will consist of base cards (star players too), a couple of inserts and maybe some rookies depending on team and what I have. Sport Card Collectors 20 Days Of Christmas Promo!

As the title states..this is a 20 Days of Christmas promo!! We didn't want to do just a Christmas contest. Or a 12 days of Christmas one. We wanted to make this very challenging but very fun! This is a fun promo we are creating and instead of a daily entry of you typing in whatever and trying to enter to win a weekly prize...you need to do daily challenges and some will have deadlines so make sure you have your eyes open and keep checking in with this blog! We will post when a new challenge is up on Twitter and Facebook. The best way NOT to miss a beat and to post on time is to subscribe by email to our blog!! You will be updated every time we make a post. You can do so on the right hand side! If not, just keep checking in!! Because in this form of contest instead of being randomly chosen..you control your own destiny!!

So its the same thing as entering daily..you just need to put in comments an answer to the days question! And each has a deadline! And at the end of the 20 days a winner(s) will appear.

This will run similar to the Player Of The Day promo where we will have standings. The difference is, is that the scoring is very simple. You get 2 points for getting the challenge right. 1 point just for entering. Thats it. There shouldn't be any scoring issues. There might be a few double points days but nothing too serious or challenging. You can move up and down the leader board pretty easily. There could be a ton of ties and if it comes down to that..we will find a last day challenge to break it all up to have just one winner!

We will wait to see how it goes and keep you informed if we decide to add more prizes. So spread the word now and we could give away more!
